Tool for a search help of a potter style:
This tool is mainly based on GB Rogers book "Poteries sigillées de la Gaule Centrale" published in 1999 and "Index of figure-types on terra-sigillata" de F.Oswald . We have added to the described potter's style in this book: P33 (Delage 2000) and we will complete the database lately with others available source. The data base contains is described in this text file in French (database version 5 from 2009/08/13)The use is very easy: You just have to select each figure-types or decorative details, one after the other in the list to add it to your selection. Then click on Search button to obtain the results of your query.
The database contains : Figure-types from Oswald noted OsXXXX (Oswald 1931), figure-type and decorative details from GB Rogers (Rogers 1974 and Rogers 1999) noted RoXXXX.
